Every month or so I put a clove of raw garlic in the chickens drinking water and a splash of cider vinegar. This is a natural organic drench for worms. I empty and provide clean water after about 48 hours.

Mine is the Blue Orphington. These birds lay large brown eggs and are very docile and quiet, great for urban gardens. They are very tameable and make great mothers. Ours put up with the kids carrying them around like dolls and putting them in swings!
