Sunday Garden visits

Thank you everyone who made Sunday such an interesting day. Something to learn at every garden visited.

The wonderful diversity of plants in Gabriella's garden. Great to see what you can achieve with limited water.

Christy's berry patch--so that's how you set up the home garden variety.

The fig espalier around the water tank, what a brilliant idea.

The Squarefoot garden in action, ideas overload!

Sorry we missed the houseboat, but we caught the ferry in time and arrived… Continue

Come along join in oooby the group for working bees, so we can work together.

Just wanted to offer a comment on "Gardening for Planet Earth" - it's great! You've succeeded in packing a huge amount of useful information into a manageable volume. Very clearly presented - useful for any beginner gardener to get a solid grounding (sorry) - whether adult or child. Well done.

Dear Dee, We met at the Auckland Home & Garden at N.Shore Events Centre with my two Verran School children. Could you please advise me on protecting my small cabbage and lettuce plants which are being eaten by lots of tiny slugs even though there's beer around for them! Many thanks, Sue

Hi Dee, Thanks for offering to show us your garden. When is good for you? Saturday or Sunday? 9th 10th or 16th 17th of May? We will work around you.
Cheers
Samantha

Hello Dee - it would be great to have you come over to Waiheke and share some of your knowledge at the Ooooby Store. We will be opening in a few weeks and I would love to be able to offer a schedule of short courses there.

Anyway, I am sure we will talk soon.
