We have a large loquat tree with loads of fruit that the kids will eat raw but we also make into jam. However, we still have jam from last year so I am looking for new ideas. I was thinking of concocting a sweet chilli-type sauce from them, but maybe

I have a dehydrator and would like to know some methods for using it for preseving feijoas .I know the basic methods but am hoping to learn from someone who has preserved feijoas successfully with a dehydrator and has a tasty recipe or two.

Has anyone tried cooking with these? I just attempted to use 1 1/2 kg to make some cranberry jelly, but only yielded one jar, which seemed like a lot of effort for small return. If you have cooked/preserved with these successfully I'd love to know.
