Tell us about your garden and what you're growing: I'm renting and starting to get into gardening on my own for the first time.

They act as a tripod and you run wood planks between the legs that you can put your potted containers on. If you have more space try using 2 ladders and each ladder acts as a end support for the planks you run between them. Just don't over weight it in the center of the planks. You might have to work at leveling the ground a bit, possibly with a small pebble gravel or you can cut plywood to lay down and it gives you more level area to put your pots. Of course there are different sized ladders!

Also, thrift stores have tons of cheap baskets. You and wire them to the side steps of your ladders.

I'm not sure how your set-up but if your dealing with limited space, make sure to check out the discussion on "Vertical Gardening". It's very portable so if you wind-up moving at some point you can haul it with you. Cheers!
